Manta Ray Records is an independent music label founded in Daytona Beach, Florida in 2002 by musician Mike Diamond. Originally a punk-rock record label, it quickly morphed to include other genres in the Daytona Beach music scene. In 2008 the company relocated to the Baltimore, Maryland and has been a major influence on the growing entertainment scene in the Mid-Atlantic.
In 2014 Manta Ray Records acquired Distrophonix , a music service corporation, that has been working closely with independent labels and artists since 2006. A combination of both companies enables Manta Ray Records to send its music to people all around the world.
